Hi, I’m Tony Peters. Thanks for visiting my blog.
To put it simply, I write about wine the way I experience it. What it smells like, how it tastes, and sometimes the memories or thoughts it sparks along the way. You’ll find the usual tasting notes here, but also the occasional personal reflection. What I share is simply my view of the wine. I’m not a professional, so I don’t give scores or ratings, just my honest impressions. I’ll always try to give you the information you need, and if I don’t know something, I’ll say so.
Wine might be “just a drink” to many, but it’s also something to enjoy with family, friends and good food.
My interest spans more than 30 years, becoming a proper hobby over the last 25. I’ve had the pleasure of stewarding at both the Royal Hobart Wine Show and the Tasmanian Wine Show, experiences that deepened my appreciation for the work that goes into every bottle.
I hope you enjoy reading along. If you have any comments, constructive, critical or otherwise, feel free to email me at: wordsfromawineglass@gmail.com
