I’m not an author, journalist, winemaker or wine professional. I’m simply a long‑time wine enthusiast who enjoys writing about it. For many years, wine was a welcome escape from my work as a first responder, and it gradually became a genuine hobby. I’m a consumer first, and an avid one at that.
